Spelunking again
With the repair of Godzilla and restoration of her functionality, development on the Matt Cave is now out of stall. She’s now being powered by Kubuntu 7.04 in place of Vista/XP and working beautifully after I accidentally fixed my ATi card. (Yes, accidentally, no I can’t do it again and no I don’t know how I did it in the first place). So now I have someplace to test the pages and host the offline clone for development work. Also, I was reminded last night how much easier development for things is on Linux after my programming homework went from merely irritating to absolutely no problem at all. My roommate is also eating his words with “Linux programming is too hard” and “What do you mean you can print from Linux? That printer doesn’t work on Linux….”
So yes, expect to see some more updates now that I have my ‘tools’ back, and it’s a joy to write code again. Now I need to go back to pretending I care about this class….
Which by the way is my Intro to Programming Lab, anyone else see the irony?
